A Message From Michigan Stars Sports Center
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has dominated all forms of the media of late and we have been closely monitoring it since it was first reported. We are keeping up to date with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the State of Michigan and the Macomb County Health Department. Our main priority is the safety, health and well-being of our guests. With the increasing number of cases of the Coronavirus being reported, please be assured that Michigan Stars Sports Center is taking extra measures to protect athletes, their families and our staff.
We will also be suggesting that everyone follow the practices being suggested by multiple health organizations:
- If you are sick, stay home.
- Avoid getting close to anyone that is sick or coughing or sneezing.
- Minimizing contact between players, no high fives, etc.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- If soap is not available, use an alcohol based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Minimize contact with your face and hands, especially with unwashed hands.
- Sneeze into the crook of your elbow or use a tissue and immediately dispose of it.
- Eliminate food and drink sharing.
